Nadine has been dancing for over 20 years. She has studied Ballet, Tap. Modern, Gymnastics and Street dance to name a few. After leaving school she attended Bolton Dance and Performing Arts College for a year before successfully auditioning and attending Phil Winston’s Theatreworks of Blackpool.
She has performed in numerous shows, including professional pantos throughout the North West with various T.V. stars and internationally on a cruise ship. She started teaching Streetdance and Cheerleading 10 years ago at a local dance school.
Then went on to become qualified in ETM, Fitness Instructing and Gym Instructor. She started Pole in 2009, she attended a beginners course and became hooked. She self trained for quite some time before becoming a Qualified Pole Instructor with Vertical Dance. She took some time out in 2011 as she became pregnant with her second child. Wanting to only focus on Pole when returning to work, the opportunity came up and DFA Studios was born! The studio was opened in January 2012, Nadine quickly went on to start training in Aerial Hoop and Silks and these too have become her passion. Nadine has worked tirelessly to build up a great reputation for DFA Studios. The studio is known for its welcoming and fun atmosphere.
Nadine has become well known within the Pole and Aerial Industry and strives to promote these arts in a positive manner. Nadine runs the studio full time whilst juggling 2 small children but wouldn’t have it any other way! She loves her ‘job’ and all of her beautiful students, who really make the job worthwhile.
Nadine also runs a Pole Fitness competition called British Pole Superstar Championships which is now in its 3rd year!.
In July 2013, Nadine entered her first competition, Miss Pole Dance Semi Pro and won herself a spot in the finals! She also got to the finals of Midlands Pole Championships.She hopes to free up enough time to enter more in 2015. She is also a BPSC, IPAAT and Trixsters judge In order to keep on top of her game she has trained with the following people; Jess Leanne Norris, Sarah Scott, Bendy Kate, Dan Rosen, Rebecca Butcher, Karen Chaundy, Penny Haworth, Karol Helms, Suzie Q and Toby J, Nicole Pearson, and Lauren Red.
Nadine is also featured in the PDC syllabus online and in the book!

From the first time Jo attended pole classes it was clear to see her enthusiasm and love for this art. Jo has shown a natural ability to work as a team and assist others in achieving their goals. She is very patient and understanding and the students love her!
Jo teaches Pole Fitness and Aerial Arts.
Jo was presented with the DFA Studios Outstanding Achievement Award in June 2012 after showing her commitment and dedication to the studios. She is now studying for further teaching qualifications in Pole and Aerial Arts.

Ruth has been studying at DFA since she was 15. Before coming to DFA she had danced since the age of 3 in a range of styles from ballet to street dance, jazz to showcase classes. From the moment she joined DFA she has enjoyed every second and is looking forward to many years of commitment to all forms of exercise and activity!
